Standing in the Twist

I am learning this life
is not about becoming better.

It is about becoming undivided.

Not fixing the tension—
but staying present within it
without leaving myself.

There are not two lives to reconcile.

My “good” self
My “bad” self

What feels like opposite sides
is one continuous ground.

I am not divided—
but I am not everything I experience.

Desire rises in me.
Fear rises in me.
The need to control.
The urge to withdraw.

These are real—
but they are not my center.

So I do not fight them,

and

I do not follow them.

I hold them in awareness
until they loosen their grip.

This is the twist.

Where I want to grasp
and learn to stay.

Where I want to disappear
and choose to remain.

I do not force the moment.
I do not abandon my longing.
I do not turn away from what is mine to hold.

I stay.

Not defensive.
Not controlling.
Not abandoning.

This is love.

The Way I follow
is the one I am learning to walk.

Not ahead of me—
but beneath my feet.

I do not need to know what comes next.
I do not need to control the outcome.
I do not need to resolve the tension.

Here—
I am not divided.
I am standing at the twist—awake.

The Way is within me.
The Kingdom is at hand.

And this—
I can trust.
